DA may increase by 5%

What the report says
Actually, the government decides to increase the DA on the basis of the rate of inflation and it depends on the data of AICPI. Let us tell you that there was a jump in the AICPI index in March 2022. After this it is expected that the government can increase the dearness allowance (DA) by 5 percent.
If this happens, then the DA of the employees will increase from 34 per cent to 39 per cent. In such a situation, an increase of more than 27 thousand is possible in the salary of central employees.
