There is good news for the government employees of Maharashtra. The Maharashtra government has given a big Diwali gift to the employees. CM Eknath Shinde has announced Diwali gift to the employees, teachers and health workers of Brihanmumbai Electric Supply i.e. BEST. Under this, a Diwali bonus of Rs 22,500 will be given to each employee of BEST and teachers associated with the civic body.
The decision was taken in a meeting with union leaders in the presence of CM Eknath Shinde. At least 93,000 BMC employees, and 29,000 BEST employees, along with teachers and health workers, will get it from this scheme. Along with this, CM Eknath Shinde has announced that BEST, Rs 22,500 will be given to BMC employees including teachers and health workers on Diwali. A salary will be given as a bonus.
The CM appealed to all the employees and said that Diwali should be celebrated with pomp, but everyone should work for Mumbaikars with all their heart. Barriers related to development works and employees related to Mumbai Municipal Corporation will be removed on priority basis. Everyone should now work for Mumbaikars with all their heart. Everyone from the engineers to ensure that the roads and infrastructure works are of high quality as per the wishes of the citizens.
