The employees, pensioners will get the enhanced DA along with salary and pension of December in January 2022, while the arrears from July to December will be received in the month of February.
6th Pay Commission: There is good news for the government employees and pensioners of Haryana. Before the new year, the Manohar Lal Khattar government of the state has given gifts to the employees-pensioners of the 5th and 6th Pay Commission. The state government has increased the dearness allowance and dearness relief of employees and pensioners by 9 and 15 per cent. It has been implemented from July 1, 2022, in which case arrears of 6 months will also be available.
The Haryana government has increased the dearness allowance by 9 per cent for the salaried employees as per the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission. Till now the employees were getting 203 percent dearness allowance, which has increased to 212 percent. Pensioners will get its benefit from July 1, 2022. The dearness relief for pensioners and family pensioners has also been increased.
With this, dearness allowance and dearness relief of 5th Pay Commission employees and pensioners have been increased by 15 per cent, after which DA has increased from 381 per cent to 396 per cent. This will also be applicable from 1 July 2022, in which case the arrears of 6 months will also be paid.
Arrears will be received in February
After the approval of the Governor, Additional Chief Secretary Finance has issued a notification to increase the dearness allowance. The employees, pensioners will get the enhanced DA along with salary and pension of December in January 2022, while the arrears from July to December will be received in the month of February.
