With the announcement of the same government, existing and former employees will get its benefit. Presently they are being given the benefit of 42 per cent dearness allowance. Soon an increase of 3 to 4 percent can be seen in the dearness allowance.
1 crore will get benefit
In fact, the dearness allowance of the employees can be increased by three to four percent. According to the AICPI data, a forecast of 3 per cent has been expressed in his dearness allowance. However, after the 3-month ACPI data, an increase of 0.7 points has been recorded in the month of March after a decline of 0.1 points in February. An increase in DA can be seen along with the increase in labor cost. With this, their dearness allowance will increase to 45 percent. Same, if there is an increase of 4 percent in their dearness allowance, then it can increase to 46 for them. It will benefit 52 lakh workers including 48 lakh pensioners.
Announcement possible in September
Earlier on March 27, the government had decided to implement the dearness allowance. This dearness allowance has become effective from 1 January 2023. In January, the dearness allowance of central employees was increased by 4 percent. At the same time, it can be implemented in the month of July. The announcement for this can be made in the month of September.
DA will be implemented from July!
Talking about the same AICPI last, an increase in dearness allowance will be announced on the basis of data from January to June 2023. This figure had increased to 132.8 in January. It had come down to 132.7 in February. However, an increase was recorded once again in March and it increased to 133.3. After the announcement of DA in September, it will be implemented from July.
Information on 18 months arrears
However, no update has been revealed so far on the arrears of the employees. The government has refused to pay arrears for 18 months. During the Corona transition, the arrears of dearness allowance from January 2020 to June 2021 were not paid to the employees. During this, several rounds of talks have taken place between the employee and Sanskar, but no official announcement has been made yet.
Although the Supreme Court, while hearing the matter, had clearly said that the government can stop the money of the employees but cannot refuse to give it. Despite this, the government has said that the arrears will not be paid citing the financial situation. However, if the payment of arrears is agreed to, then only the employees of First can be benefited up to ₹ 218000. At present, no new update has been revealed on this.
