Uttarakhand Employees Vehicle Allowance 2023: There is good news for the employees of Uttarakhand. The state government has fixed new rates of conveyance allowance for personnel of various cadres.
The state government has increased the conveyance allowance of all field employees of various cadres. Under this, the pay scale has been increased from Rs 1200 to Rs 4000. Finance Department Secretary Dilip Jawalkar has also issued orders in this regard.
Under the order, monthly vehicle allowance of Rs 4000 will be given to Level-10 and higher level personnel, Rs 3000 to Level-7 to 9 personnel, Rs 2000 to Level-4 to 6 personnel and Rs 1200 to Level-1 to 3 personnel. Allowance will be given. Along with the allowance, the state government has also set some conditions and restrictions for the employees.
These will be the terms and conditions
- Traveling allowance is not admissible to a Government servant who is required to travel and does not have a government vehicle.
- Employees will get the benefit of vehicle allowance even if they use private vehicles for government work. For this, department heads will have to give a certificate that they are using their personal vehicles for government work.
- Vehicle allowance will not be given during casual leave.
- Before drawing conveyance allowance the ordering authority must ensure that these restrictions are complied with.
- Government employees will be given vehicle allowance for road journey which will be decided according to the time period.
- Ordinary traveling allowance/road kilometer allowance will not be admissible for short distance journeys for which conveyance allowance has been admissible.
- Conveyance allowance will not be admissible during the period of joining. Before drawing the conveyance allowance, the drawing-disbursing officer will ensure that the claim of conveyance allowance is in accordance with the above restrictions.
- In the departments where field employees carry out official work in a personal vehicle, a certificate will be issued by the heads of those departments to the effect that the concerned employee has a personal vehicle and the personal vehicle is used by the employee for official work.
