DA hike has been announced for 7th pay commission employees across the country. In fact, after issuing the announcement of 34% increase in DA, now the 6th pay commission (6th pay commission) ) has been announced for the employees.
In fact, according to the order issued, 7% DA increase was done from July 1, 2021 to December 2021. The same 196% DA has been increased to 203 percent from January 1, 2022. In which again an increase of 7 percent has been recorded.
Two big DA hikes have been announced from July 2021 to January 2022 in the DA of fellow railway employees. Also, after increasing the 7% DA increase of the employees, an order has been issued to increase the DA of the employees by 14 percent from July 1, 2021 to January 2021. Arrears will also be paid for this.
According to the order issued, instructions have been given to refer to this Ministry’s letter of even number dated 07.09.2021 (PC-VI/406, RBE No.65/2021). In which the rates of dearness allowance have been revised.
In fact, increase in DA has been announced in respect of Railway employees who continue to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay scale/grade pay as per 6th Central Pay Commission as on 01.07.2021.
The rate of Dearness Allowance payable to such category of Railway employees was increased from 189% to 196% w.e.f. 01.07.2021. Whereas DA has been increased from 196% to 203% with effect from 01.01.2022.
Under these orders, the provisions contained in paras 3, 4 and 5 of this Ministry’s letter of even number dated 09.09.2008 (No. PC-VI/3, RBE No. 106/2008) shall continue to be applicable while regulating Dearness Allowance. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
