In this case, Chief Human Resource Officer Milind Lakkar has said in his interview that the company believes in extracting the talent of the employees.
In such a situation, it has been decided to increase the salary of the employees. Also commenting on the ongoing retrenchment, he said that IT companies were forced to cut down on the number of employees as more people were hired but this is not the case. TCS remains cautious in its approach. Along with this, all the tech companies are going through retrenchment but TCS is employing more than 6 lakh employees.
Increment benefit same as last years
Milind Lakkar revealed that TCS staff members will indeed receive the same increment as in previous years. No changes have been made in the salary structure of the employees. So they need not worry. In such a situation, it is believed that once again the salary of the employees can be increased by TCS by up to 8 percent. In such a situation, it is certain that the employees of TCS will get the same benefit of increment as in previous years. Apart from this, there will be no retrenchment of employees.
Making a big disclosure, Milind Lakkar said that during the last year more than two lakh people including one lakh trainees have been hired. Along with this, it is being included in many eligible projects. Due to which the decline has been recorded due to reduction in new recruitments. At the same time, not according to the need, the appointment of employees also has to be done.
