10117 contract employees will be regularized
The Andhra Pradesh government has given a big gift to the employees in the cabinet meeting. Actually on one side where more than 6000 government posts will be recruited. And 10117 contract employees will be regularised.
With respect to contract employees, it was decided that all such employees have completed at least 5 years of service as on June 2, 2014. They will be regularised. Let us inform that on June 2, 2014 two states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were divided.
The rates of allowance have also been revised
Along with this, an important decision has also been taken on the allowance of the employees. The rates of allowance have also been revised and increased in the cabinet meeting. The cabinet has also taken important decisions to give similar house rent allowance at the rate of 16% to all the employees working in the district headquarters.
Amount provision for arrear payment
Earlier, the increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief of the employees was approved. From January 1, 2022, employees will be paid DA and DR under 2.73%. This will put a burden of Rs 200 crore on the state exchequer. The establishment of the same 12th Pay Revision Commission has also been approved.
The government’s decision to consider the Council as a government employee was also approved.
Government’s decision to abolish Vidya Vidhan Parishad and consider its 14653 employees as government employees has also been approved. These will be transferred to the Secondary Health Directorate.
