Employees will now be paid honorarium. For this, the amount of honorarium has been fixed. Under the released amount, maximum benefit of Rs 11000 to 15000 will be given to the employees. One month’s basic salary will be provided as honorarium to the employees involved in the election work.
Employees Honorarium Hike: Big relief has been given to the employees by the state government. Honorarium has been announced for the officer employees. Along with this, a maximum of Rs 15000 will be made available as honorarium to the officers posted in the field office.
Honorarium has been fixed by the Election Commission for those who conduct assembly elections in the state. The prescribed honorarium will be paid to the employees of the Election Department, including the District Election Officer. An order in this regard has been issued by the Chief Electoral Officer of the state.
Will get 1 month basic salary
Under the issued order, all the Divisional Commissioners, all District Election Officers, Election Officers, Returning Officers, Assistant Election Officers and Electoral Staff Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Senior and Junior Assistant Clerks and Chowkidars will be given 1 month’s basic salary.
Fixed honorarium
According to a letter issued by state Chief Electoral Officer Manish Garg on Wednesday, Rs 5,500 will be provided as honorarium to daily wage earners posted in field offices, Rs 15,000 to programmers, Rs 11,000 to assistant programmers, Rs 9,000 to computer operators. Will be given benefit of Rs. 7000 rupees will be given to the Assistant Returning Officer in lump sum as election duty. Data Entry Operator has been fixed for payment of honorarium of Rs.7000 and Safai Karamcharis for Rs.5000.
