Necessary work has been completed by the department in this regard while it has been sent to the Finance Department and Personal Department for further action.
In this regard, School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that regular computer operators working under the society would be given the benefit of grade pay as per the Sixth Pay Commission and also the action related to the implementation of service rules has been expedited. The file has been sent to the Finance Department. Further action will be completed soon.
The Education Minister said that the possibility of getting approval from the Finance and Personnel Department is intense. After this, the work related to giving benefits to computer teachers will be completed very soon. Let us inform that the service rule is to be implemented on the grades of computer teachers according to the sixth pay commission. For this the approval of Finance Department and Personal Department is very necessary.
On the other hand, a policy has been prepared by the Punjab Government to regularize the contractual employees. The portal has been opened for receiving applications related to regularization of contractual employees on Friday. Employees will be able to apply for regularization on the active portal.
Along with this, the demands of computer teachers will also be fulfilled. They will be given the benefit of salary through the sixth pay scale. With this, soon there is a possibility of increase in his salary by 20 to 22 thousand rupees.
