Uniform allowance is available in winter and summer
Actually, the allowance is given to the employees once in three years by the headquarters for the winter uniform. Whereas for summer uniform, uniform allowance is issued once in a year. Under this, uniform allowance is given by the headquarters to drivers and operators, staff members working in workshops and class IV employees. But due to non-receipt of uniform allowance by the headquarters on time, the employees have to come on duty in plain clothes, in which case sometimes fine is also imposed.
