Under this, service book, salary slip, G fund, income tax statement, appointment, qualification, contact, posting, promotion, transfer information etc. will be available on a digital portal. To take advantage of this, government employees can register themselves from November 17. This will benefit about 4 lakh employees in Jammu and Kashmir.

The system will facilitate career progression of employees, timely filing of monthly performance reports, submission of property returns and annual performance reports.

According to media reports, the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir has asked all its employees to register in it, while other government departments have also made preparations to do so at their own level.
The special thing is that with the implementation of this system, the employees will also get the benefit of services like Employees Performance Monitoring System and Property Return System through this portal on a single platform. Till now this information was linked under the Central Personal Information System, but now it will be linked with the said portal and will get benefits. The portal will also integrate Employee Monitoring Portal (EPM) and Online Property Return System (PRS).
