The Modi government at the Center has given another big gift to the pensioners. To give the benefit of pension facilities, a portal has been started by the Central Government, which will make many pension related works easier. This portal ipension.nic.in will provide a one stop solution to the needs of pensioners. With the launch of this portal, pensioners will no longer need to visit the bank for submission of life certificate or for any other reason. Pensioners will get all the facilities on a single platform.

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh on Tuesday launched ‘Bhavishya’, a single integrated pensioners portal developed in collaboration with State Bank of India and aimed at bringing ease in the lives of Central Government pensioners. All the remaining 16 pension disbursing banks will now start their integration with ‘Bhavishya’. Under this, Bhavishya 9.0 version is being launched with integration with the pension disbursing banks.

Dr. Singh said that the portal for pension payment and tracking system ‘Bhavishya’ is being integrated with the Pension Seva Portal of SBI and will enable the pensioners to get all the information and services at one place with a single login. On completion of all the steps of this integration retirees can select the bank and branch to open pension account online, check the status of their monthly pension slip, Form-16, Jeevan Pramaan and with You can change your pension disbursement bank through the same future.

Dr. Jitendra Singh informed that Bhavishya has recently been certified as the third best portal among all service portals of Government of India by National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NESDA). Hence the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DOPPW) has chosen this end-to-end digitized portal as the base portal for future integration, which will eventually become a single window for all central government pensioners. Portals like CPENGRAMS, Anubhav, Grant, Sankalp and Pension Dashboard have now been merged with the future window.
