Sarkari Loan Scheme: Many schemes are being run by the Central Government for financial assistance to the people. In this context, there is a scheme of the Central Government in which people are encouraged to do their business by giving them loans. Under this scheme, the government is giving a loan of Rs 3 lakh at five percent interest.
PM Vishwakarma Scheme: There are many such schemes of the Central Government in which people are encouraged to do their business by giving loans. One such scheme is PM Vishwakarma Yojana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this scheme on September 17. Under this scheme, arrangements have been made to provide various benefits to artisans and craftsmen.
Under this scheme, artisans and craftsmen will be identified through PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card. Training will be given for 5-7 days with a stipend of Rs 500 per day. A toolkit incentive of up to Rs 15,000 in the form of e-voucher will be given at the beginning of basic skills training.
Loan without guarantee-
Loan up to Rs 3 lakh will be given without any collateral. This amount will be given in two installments. Under this, loan will be given in two installments of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh at 5 percent interest rate for a period of 18 months and 30 months respectively.
Who will benefit –
This scheme is for artisans associated with 18 professions. This includes carpenters, boat makers, weapon makers, blacksmiths, hammer and tool kit makers, locksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, sculptors (sculptors, stone carvers), stone breakers, cobblers/shoe artisans, masons. For this, basket/mat/broom makers/coir weavers, doll and toy makers (traditional), barbers, garland makers, washermen, tailors and artisans and craftsmen engaged in fishing net manufacturing have also been included.
