Petrol Diesel Price Today: Crude oil becomes costlier in the international market, know what is the price of petrol and diesel in your city today

Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that from October 25, Pollution Control (PUC) certificate will be mandatory for refueling at petrol pumps in Delhi.

Drivers of Delhi will not be able to put petrol and diesel in their vehicle from October 25 without a valid Pollution Control Certificate (PUC). Because Environment Minister Gopal Rai said on Saturday that Pollution Control (PUC) certificate will be mandatory for refueling at petrol pumps in Delhi from October 25. In fact, to curb the pollution caused by vehicular smoke, the Delhi Transport Department has started taking action against vehicles running without valid PUC from October 1. Along with this, now PUC certificate is also going to be made mandatory for taking petrol and diesel.

The government is going to start an enforcement drive at petrol pumps. In this, if caught without a valid PUC certificate, there can be a license suspension to a thick challan. He said that if you do not have a valid PUC certificate, then from October 25, petrol and diesel will not be available at petrol pumps in Delhi. Let us tell you that we usually take measures to deal with vehicular emissions, even in the winter action plan. Also there is a new development which is still in process. This year, when the level of pollution increases in winter, people will not be able to fill petrol at the pump without valid pollution control certificate. The government is preparing for this.

Notification will be released soon
The Transport Department will issue a notice on this on Monday. People will be given time till October 25. From October 25, drivers will not be able to fill petrol and diesel at petrol pumps without PUC certificate. The government is preparing for it and a notification will be issued soon. Rai said that with this measure some petrol pump owners have raised the question of long lines. The traffic police and the transport department are preparing to handle it. A clear picture will emerge in a week.

Action plan will be monitored from Green War Room
The Transport Department had in October last year issued a circular to depute enforcement staff to check the PUC certificates of vehicles coming for refueling at petrol pumps. A 24×7 Green War Room will be started at the Delhi Secretariat on October 3, ahead of the projected increase in air pollution levels in winter. The implementation of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) and the Winter Action Plan will be monitored from this war room. From October 10, the spraying of Pusa Bio Decomposer will start, which helps in decomposing paddy straw after Kharif crop.

Pollution problem an airshed problem
Along with this, Rai says that last year there were three incidents of stubble burning in Narela, Bawana and Mundka areas in Delhi. In NCR regions, GRAP is announced but there is no seriousness in implementation. Pollution problem is an airshed problem. I request the states of NCR to prepare a winter action plan and constitute teams for its monitoring and implementation. A regional task force is also required for implementation, which is headquartered within the NCR. He will also contact the states in this regard.

Need for development in Delhi
Asked by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal about the delay in felling and transplanting permissions for infrastructure projects in the city, Rai said development is necessary, but as far as the environment department is concerned Our priority is to plant trees, not to cut them. There is a need for development in Delhi, but balance is needed. There are many agencies such that after getting permission, they do not care about it. When the report was sought, many agencies transplanted the trees and then left. They want development, but we do not want destruction of the environment. We analyze and approve projects. The projects are being reviewed. Only after that further decision will be taken.
