Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana Launched: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects worth about Rs 7500 crore in sectors like health, rail, road, oil and gas in Shirdi, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.

Now a total of Rs 12000 will be given.
He expressed happiness that the Maharashtra government has started ‘Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana’, under which the Shetkari families of Maharashtra will get an additional Rs 6000, that is, local small farmers will get Rs 12,000 as Samman Nidhi.
Prime Minister launched ‘Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana’. This scheme will benefit more than 86 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra by providing an additional amount of Rs 6000 per year.
Beneficiaries will get double money:
Through this scheme, more than 86 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra will be benefited by providing an additional amount of Rs 6,000 per year. That means earlier only Rs 6000 was given, now it will be double for the farmers in Maharashtra.
