According to the report published in the Indian Express, these 143 items include papad, jaggery, power bank, watch, suitcase, perfume, TV (up to 32 inches), chocolate, clothes, goggles, frame, washbasin . Prices of walnuts, custard powder, hand bags, chewing gum, non-alcoholic drinks, glasses and leather items may increase.

Let us inform that the GST Council has suggested that out of this, the price of about 92 percent of the items should be shifted from the 18 percent GST tax slab to about 28 percent tax slab. Along with this, many things are also being considered by removing them from the Exempt List and bringing them under the purview of tax. Let us tell you that the GST Council can also take back the things for which the GST rates were cut in November 2017 and 2018.

In the GST Council meeting held in Guwahati in the year 2017, GST was cut in the goods of perfumes, leather goods, clothes, cosmetic products, firecrackers, plastics, laps, sound recorders, etc. If the current recommendations of the GST Council are accepted, then now you will have to pay more money on all these things.

Along with this, you may also get an increase in the prices of TV sets (32 inches), digital and video cameras, power banks, etc. In the GST meeting of the year 2018, the price of all these things was cut.
