Hero MotoCorp, which has been popular in the two-wheeler market in India for a long time, has sold around 3,58,586 lakh units in August 2024. The company’s bikes like Splendor, HF Deluxe, Passion and Glamour are being sold in both rural and urban markets. The popularity of Hero MotoCorp’s bikes is known for their affordable price, better mileage and durability.
The company’s sales are increasing continuously due to its strong hold in rural areas. Apart from this, the company has also recently entered its premium and electric segment, which is an important part of its future strategies.

Honda sales in August 2024
On the other hand, Honda two-wheelers have sold around 352,558 lakh units in August. Honda’s Activa scooter and CB Shine bike are among its popular selling models. Activa scooter sells a lot in urban areas of India.

In the month of August, Hero MotoCorp’s sales were 6,028 units more than Honda. This difference is much less than before, which makes it clear that Honda is giving tough competition to Hero and soon this gap may reduce even more. This close competition between Hero and Honda may intensify in the coming months, especially during the festive season, when the demand for two-wheelers increases.
