Keeping the festive season in mind, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the new Sports Edition of its famous bike Honda SP125.
Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine, the starting price of this bike has been fixed at Rs 90,567 (ex-showroom). Along with the launch of this bike, the company has also started its official booking through authorized dealerships and website.
The company has made some cosmetic changes in the new SP125 Sports Edition, which makes it different from the regular model. Although no mechanical changes have been made in it.
Speaking about the new launch, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President and CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said, “Since its inception, the Honda SP125 has been renowned in the premium commuter motorcycle segment for its advanced features, stylish design and performance. We hope that its new sports edition will attract customers even more.”
Let us tell you that recently, Japanese company Honda had expanded its SP range by including SP160 and it has been placed slightly above the Unicorn 160. It has a floating design fuel tank with matte muffler cover and new graphics. New lines are seen on the body panels as well as alloy wheels of the bike.

As features, Honda SP125 has been provided with LED headlamp, fully digital instrument cluster which gives basic information like gear position, speed, fuel-gauge. Apart from this, there is no change in the engine mechanism of the bike.
Like before, this bike has a single-cylinder PGM-FI engine of 123.94 cc capacity, which generates power of 10.7 hp and peak torque of 10.9 Nm.
Getting 10 years warranty:
Like its other bikes, Honda is giving a standard warranty of 7 years with this motorcycle. Apart from this, 3 years extended warranty is being given, for which customers will have to spend extra money.
Overall, customers can avail 10 years warranty with this bike. The new Sport Edition of Honda SP125 has been made available in Decent Blue Metallic and Heavy Gray Metallic paint schemes.
