Huawei has launched a new laptop in China. This laptop, introduced with the name Huawei Qingyun S520, works on Intel processor. This is in contrast to the recently launched Qingyun L540, which features a Kirin 9006C processor.
According to Huawei, the new S520 has been designed for specific businesses. Its screen size is 14-inch. The new model comes in many variants according to chipsets and storage. It has backlit keyboard, fingerprint sensor and latest connectivity options.
Huawei Qingyun S520 has been launched in China . Its i5-1240P, 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at 4,499 Yuan (approximately Rs 53,500) and i7-1260P, 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at 5,499 Yuan (approximately Rs 65,500). According to the company, a discount of up to 500 Yuan is also being given on it for a limited time in the country.
The Huawei Qingyun S520 sports a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. It is an IPS LCD panel, which claims to support 100 percent sRGB color gamut and up to 300 nits peak brightness. The laptop comes equipped with a 12th Gen Intel P-Series processor with up to 16GB RAM and SSD storage option up to 1TB.
Wireless connectivity options on the notebook include WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. It has all the essential ports, like 2 x USB 3.2 Gen1 (Type-A), 1 x USB Type-C (DisplayPort compatible), HDMI, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, RJ45 (Ethernet), and a microSD card slot. For log-in security, it also has an embedded fingerprint sensor, which is installed on the power button.

The Huawei Qingyun S520 is an enterprise laptop. Its outer body is made of metal. Its thinnest part is 17.2 mm and as per the company’s claim, it weighs about 1.45 grams. It has a 180 degree hinge. It includes a full-size backlit keyboard without a numberpad. The size of the touchpad is 120 x 72 mm.
The laptop runs on Microsoft Windows 11 Home Chinese Edition operating system. It has a battery of 56Wh capacity and it supports 65W charging.
