Toyota has today launched its all-new 2022 Glanza in India with an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 6.39 lakh in Delhi.
The company has given a fresh look to the new Glanza with many changes in the exterior, while many new features have also been provided in the car according to the competition.
In fact, this new car is a Toyota badged model of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the 2022 model of Baleno has also been introduced recently. The new car is going to compete with cars like Hyundai i20 and Honda Jazz.
Many changes to the exterior
The face of the 2022 Toyota Glanza has been drastically changed and the car gets a thinner and curved grille that comes with chrome accents. The company has also made changes in the headlamps of the car, which are now looking more sharp and modern than before.
Project lamps and LED DRLs have been found here. What seems to have changed the most are both the bumpers and the new 16-inch alloy wheels. If we look at the rear, here are the wraparound LED taillamps which are also given in 2022 Baleno.
Changes in the cabin of the car
The cabin of the new Glanza has been restyled with features like flat bottom steering wheel covered with leather, new instrument cluster, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment and Android Auto with Apple Car Play.
Other new features of the car include connected car technology and a new headsup display. Apart from these features, the new Toyota Glanza has also been given features like 360-degree camera, voice assistance, cruise control and automatic climate control.
The car is powered by a 1.2-litre dual-VVT 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine makes 90PS of power and 113Nm of peak torque.
