IMD Alert, Today Weather Update: Western Disturbance is becoming active from 30th March. Due to which rain warnings have been issued in many states including Jharkhand. Apart from this, three weather systems are active.

According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is active over Jammu and Kashmir. It is expected to reach the western Himalayas from Tuesday night. Due to which the possibility of rain has been expressed in North-East India, Gangetic region of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir.

However, the weather has been predicted to remain dry in Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra including Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh for 2 days. Sun’s heat will increase. Along with this, a forecast of strong wind has been expressed.

According to the Meteorological Department, from March 30, there will be a change in the weather once again in Jharkhand, Bihar, Jammu Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand including the hill states and Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan including the capital Delhi. Day temperatures may increase over Northwest and Central India.

An induced cyclonic circulation formed

An induced cyclonic circulation will form over West Rajasthan on March 30. Due to which the effect of disturbance will increase the most. A lot of its impact can be seen on Rajasthan. Apart from Jodhpur, Bikaner, the forecast of wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour along with strong winds was expressed in the districts of Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Bharatpur divisions. Along with this, a warning of hailstorm has also been issued.

In Rajasthan, on March 30, except for Jalore, Pali and Barmer, a warning of cloud neck and hailstorm has been issued in the entire state with high speed storm. Along with this, a new Western Disturbance will be active on 29 and 30 March. Due to which rain is possible in many areas.

Weather will change in Bihar, Jharkhand

The effect of Western Disturbance is visible in Jharkhand as well. Warning of rain has been issued in many districts including the capital Ranchi. Till April 1, the weather will remain rough. Warning of hailstorm has been issued at many places. Along with this, a warning of rain has also been issued.

On March 28, a forecast of thunder and lightning and strong wind was expressed in Northeast India. From March 31, the rainy season will start in the region. Light rain with isolated rain has been forecast over Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal and Sikkim on March 30 and 31, while a warning of isolated hailstorm has been issued over Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh on March 30.

Weather system

Talking about the weather system, a line is extending from Central Chhattisgarh to South Tamil Nadu passing through Interior Karnataka. Apart from this, a low line, which extends from Bihar through Jharkhand to North Odisha at the global level. Due to this also rain has been predicted.

At the end of March, there is a possibility of light rain and showers on March 29 and 30. On March 29, the rain activity will continue till the northern parts of Kutch and Saurashtra. Apart from this, the sky will also be cloudy in Disha, Patan and Palanpur. Light showers may occur. On March 30, rain has been predicted in many parts of the state. Light rain warnings have been issued in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Baroda, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Surendra Nagar Mehsana and Anand.

In the interior parts of the state, a heatwave has been forecast for a few days till the end of February. Scattered rain warning has been issued in the first 3 weeks of March. On the other hand, between 27 and 29 March, heavy rains were seen in Gujarat and Saurashtra. This will show the effect of Western Disturbance.

  • A line at the lower Ashoka Mandal level is extending from Chhattisgarh to South Tamil Nadu and a truck extending from Bihar to North Orissa.

  • Rain warning has been issued in Northeast India, West Bengal III, Orissa, South Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Rain in Odisha
