- Widespread rain has been forecast over the Western Himalayan region from January 10 to 15. Along with this, between January 11 and January 14, there is a possibility of rain in the Kosi area of western Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab and the surrounding areas of Delhi.
- Due to the same active Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of lightning accompanied by thunder and lightning in Himachal from January 12 to January 15 including Jammu and Kashmir on January 11 and 13. On Monday, visibility has reached zero at many places including Agra, Lucknow, Bhatinda, Jammu, Ganganagar, Ambala, Patiala, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Bhagalpur, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Kanpur. The same visibility 50 meters has been recorded in Bahraich, Palam, Gaya, Purnia. 25 meter visibility has been recorded in Safdarganj, apart from this Yellow Orange Alert of Sheetlahar and Cold Wave has also been issued.
Warning of cold wave in the capital Delhi

Cold Day, Severe Cold was issued on Monday as the temperature was recorded. Cold day was recorded in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur while severe cold warning has been issued in Purnia, Muzaffarpur, Chhapra. Forecast of cold wave has also been issued in Darbhanga, Supaul, Motihari. Visibility has reduced considerably. The outbreak of cold wave will continue. After January 13, relief is visible in Bihar.
Orange alert of cold wave with rain in Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh, between January 11 and 15, there is a possibility of rain in Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh. Etawah has been recorded as the coldest. Dense fog and cold bay warnings were issued for the area. Red alert has been issued in 19 districts while Orange alert has been issued for central and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Red alert of cold wave in eastern states
A red orange alert has been issued for snowfall and rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh. Traffic service will be disrupted. Along with this, there will be a decrease in visibility with mist and fog. According to the update released by the Meteorological Department, rain activity is expected to start from January 12 in many surrounding areas including Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur.
