Fluctuation in temperature with fog is likely over Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan, West Bengal, Assam and Tripura. Cold wave conditions may persist in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Whereas Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Tripura and Uttar Pradesh will witness dense fog for the next two-three days.
Chance of light to moderate rain

The weather will be clear in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh. In the same northwest India, there is no chance of rain in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. But on January 5 and 6, light rain can be seen at some places in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar and Jharkhand.
