- The same trough extended from North India to Central Chhattisgarh causing moderate rains over East India during next 5 days. Heavy rain warning has been issued at isolated places over Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim since May 18.
- While a cyclonic circulation has formed over Jammu and Kashmir, the other Western Disturbance is located in the middle and upper troposphere in the form of a turtle sound in the air.
- The same line is likely to stop in India, with the moisture coming from the Bay of Bengal blocking the southwest winds. Due to which forecast of heavy to very heavy rain has been expressed in Northeast India. Moderate rains can be recorded in these areas for the next 5 days. Heavy rain alert has been issued between May 22 and May 25.
