IMD Alert: Cyclone Biparjoy made landfall on the coast of Kutch and Saurashtra on Thursday evening, causing heavy rains in most parts of Gujarat today. After Gujarat, now this storm is moving towards Rajasthan.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert that due to the storm, today and tomorrow, on June 16 and 17, there will be heavy rains in Gujarat and Rajasthan. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also said that for the next four days, there will be heavy rains in the national capital Delhi as well as in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Delhi-NCR will rain heavily for four days

According to IMD, the people of Delhi-NCR (Delhi NCR Weather Today) will get relief from the scorching heat for the next three days from today. There is a possibility of light rain in Delhi today. Along with this, a decrease in temperature will also be seen. The maximum temperature can reach 38 degrees and the minimum temperature can reach 27 degrees.

Effect of Biperjoy will be seen in these states including Delhi

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in Kutch, Gujarat. At the same time, the effect of the storm will be visible in Delhi and it may rain in UP-Jharkhand including Delhi-NCR for the next 4 days. Along with this, an alert has been issued for heavy rains in Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana for the next four days.

In some areas of Haryana, it is raining continuously due to Western Disturbance, while in some places it is humid summer. The effect of cyclonic storm Biparjoy is going to be visible in the districts of the southern part of Haryana and due to this there is a possibility of light rain and strong winds from June 17 to June 20.

There will be heavy rain in six districts of Haryana

According to the information of the Chandigarh Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rains in 6 districts of Haryana due to Biparjoy cyclone. The impact of Biparjoy cyclone can be more visible in South Haryana’s Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurugram, Mewat, Palwal, Faridabad. According to the department, after Gujarat, Biparjoy cyclone can reach Rajasthan and then South Haryana. However, after reaching Haryana, the cyclone will weaken significantly and will have less impact in other states.

There is a strong possibility of rain in Haryana on June 18 and 19 and there may be a sudden change in the weather due to the activation of Western Disturbance. The rains caused by the cyclone will bring down the temperature and people will get respite from the heat.
