IMD Today Weather: The change in weather continues, a low pressure area remains in the Bay of South East Bengal. Rain in southern states

On November 22, there will be a change in the weather in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Royal Seema, West Bengal. Along with light to moderate rain, a warning of thunderstorm has also been issued.

Effects of depression

Due to the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, the wind speed is expected to increase from 40 to 45 kmph to 55 kmph. On 19th November strong wind will be seen along and off the coast of Sri Lanka around Southwest and Bay of Bengal. Winds with a speed of 65 km per hour are expected in the southwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.

From 20 to 22 November, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Sri Lanka and Gulf of Mannar, Southwest Tamil Nadu, Gulf of West Bengal and from Andhra Pradesh to North Tamil Nadu coast and sea condition has been predicted to deteriorate on 22 November. Fishermen have been advised to stay away from the sea.

According to the Meteorological Department, scattered rain will be seen in the Andaman and Nicobar Deep group. There is a possibility of thunderstorm in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh. There is a possibility of rain in Kerala. The Western Special will intensify snowfall over Jammu Kashmir Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh on November 19.

Fog in Delhi
