There is a possibility of snowfall and rain at different places in Ladakh. Talking about Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, some areas of Central India may witness fog in the morning.

A cyclonic circulation will form in the Arabian Sea

Cyclone “Mandus” has gradually weakened after landfall. Along with this, the rains in many states have stopped. However, another cyclonic circulation is getting ready from 13th December. In fact, a cyclonic circulation has formed between the south peninsular to the Arabian Sea. Under its influence, a low pressure area has formed over southeast and adjoining central Arabian Sea off north Kerala, Karnataka.

Due to which the cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above sea level. Due to this, moderate to heavy rains may be seen in parts of Maharashtra and Rayalaseema including southern states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka for 2 to 3 days, although it is predicted to weaken during the next 3 days.

Moderate rains over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh

Due to this cyclonic circulation, moderate rains may occur over Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 2 days. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Kerala and in Lakshadweep during the next 24 hours.

Red alert issued for very heavy rain

In the same country, another cyclonic circulation has formed over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Malakkha, Sumatra. It extends up to 3.1 km above sea level. Due to which a red alert has been issued for extremely heavy rains due to heavy rains in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 15th December. Along with this, the forecast has also been expressed by the Meteorological Department.

Rain in MP in next 24 hours

  • There is a possibility of rain at one or two places in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.
  • Fog may occur in some areas of Central India in the morning.
  • Increase in temperature in the capital Delhi
  • The bitter cold is not felt in the capital Delhi even after half of December has passed.
  • However, an increase of four to five degrees has been observed in the temperature. If the forecast is to be believed then after December 17, a drop in temperature can be seen in Delhi.

Feeling of heat even in December in Rajasthan

According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, the night temperature in Jalore, Dungarpur, Jodhpur, Barmer, Udaipur is 15 degree Celsius. Bhilwara, Kota, Bundi, Udaipur have also seen an increase in temperature. However, Churu in Rajasthan recorded a minimum temperature of 4.6 degree Celsius on Monday. 6.9 in Karauli, 7 in Fatehpur while 7.1 degree Celsius temperature has been recorded in Pilani.

Rapid change in weather in Jharkhand
