Cold wave will create severe cold wave conditions in northern parts of Rajasthan from January 4 to 6. Cold wave conditions are prevailing in isolated parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from January 2 to 4, no significant change in minimum temperature likely over rest of the country during next five days. A warning has been issued for falling of Maavath within the day.

At present, no weather system is active in the country. The Western Disturbance is located north of 71 degree east longitude and 28 degree latitude in the middle troposphere. With this, during the next 24 hours, there will be dense fog in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh and Delhi today. Along with this, a cold wave warning has also been issued. In some parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh , a warning has been issued for rain to fall within 3 days.

  • Talking about 24 hours from now , light rain has been seen in parts of Andaman and Nicobar, Bihar, Lakshadweep, Uttar Pradesh including Andhra Pradesh .
  • Severe cold wave conditions including cold wave will continue in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh including Delhi and Uttarakhand .
  • Apart from this , cold day alert was issued in many parts of Bihar, Punjab, South-West Haryana, Uttar Pradesh . There is a condition of cold wave in these areas.
  • While the sky is cloudy in areas like Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu etc. Moderate rain has been seen in many areas. Apart from this, rain has been predicted in these areas even today.
  • Talking about the whole of India, there is a possibility of rain in the areas of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland etc. today. With this cold wave will continue, orange alert of dense fog has been issued.

Weather conditions in the next 24 hours

  • According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in parts of Andaman and Nicobar, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bengal including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu .
  • Cold wave has continued in Haryana Punjab New Delhi including Uttarakhand, Himachal .
    Dense fog will remain in many areas of Jharkhand including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar . Yellow alert has been issued for this.
  • Severe cold wave warning has been issued in Haryana, North Rajasthan . People have been advised to be cautious.
  • Apart from this , cold day alert has been issued in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat .

Yellow alert of cold wave in Delhi

Dense fog will remain in the capital Delhi, visibility will decrease significantly. Visibility is being maintained at 50 metres. Along with this, forecast of moderate and dense fog has been expressed for 2 days. Along with this, a cold wave warning has been issued in Delhi. By the end of the week, the temperature will reach 4 degree Celsius. Along with this, strong winds will blow.

Rain alert in Bihar Jharkhand

Air services have also been affected since the morning of dense fog from Dehradun. Along with this, many air services have been canceled.

A warning of dense fog and cold wave has been issued in 27 districts of the state. People have been warned to be cautious. In Uttar Pradesh, IMD has issued Orange Alert in Shamli, Baghpat, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Amroha, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Deoria, Ballia, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar .

Mawath will fall in Madhya Pradesh

Weather changes rapidly from Madhya Pradesh to Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is witnessing a drastic drop in temperature due to dense fog. It is getting cold in Surguja division. Along with this , a warning has been issued for falling snow in Madhya Pradesh . In many districts of Madhya Pradesh, a warning has been issued for the fall of Maavath.

Alert has been issued in many districts of Jharkhand . People were advised to be cautious. The sky will be partly cloudy. According to the Meteorological Center, till January 7, rain was predicted in many areas. Light and moderate rain will be recorded. Chaibasa recorded the highest temperature of 30 degree Celsius. The lowest temperature recorded in Ramgarh is 10 degree Celsius.

Temperature below 1 degree in the district of Rajasthan Gujarat
