Weather forecast has been expressed in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh including Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal. Along with this, a red orange alert has been issued for heavy rain in some areas. In many areas of Uttar Pradesh, strong winds have been predicted with extremely heavy rains.

Heavy rains in parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu as well

According to the Meteorological Department, very heavy rains can also be seen in some parts of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu. Odisha has been issued a thunderstorm warning with heavy rain, while the hilly states have also issued an orange alert for heavy rain in some areas with thunderstorms.

A low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal

A low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. Whose warning has been issued to move towards the west. Changes will be seen in the weather of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh as we move west. Monsoon has once again become active over these areas. With the onset of monsoon, very heavy rains will be seen in the areas. The possibility of heavy rain has been expressed in many districts including 5 divisions. Apart from Madhya Pradesh, the change of weather is going to continue in Chhattisgarh as well.

Cloud movement continues in the sky in Delhi

The movement of clouds in the sky is going to continue in the capital Delhi. A drop of two to three percent in temperature can be recorded. Along with this, there is a possibility of drizzle in some areas including Noida. Heavy rain is going to continue in Uttar Pradesh as well. A warning of continuous torrential rain has been issued for four days. Orange red alert for heavy rain has also been issued in Bihar.

Heavy rain alert in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rains in Rajasthan for the next 2 to 3 days due to the formation of a low pressure area. Apart from this, an alert of very heavy rain has also been issued in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. From August 22, a period of heavy rains will start in East and Northeast India.

  • The same rain activity will be seen in Madhya Pradesh till August 27.
  • Heavy rain warning has been issued till August 25 in Vidarbha and till August 25 in Chhattisgarh.
  • According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain activity is going to continue in West Bengal Sikkim for the next 7 days.

  • Widespread rain and thundershowers are likely over Konkan, Goa and Vidarbha.
    Scattered rain and thundershowers are expected over Haryana, Chandigarh-Delhi, Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
