Monsoon has departed from many parts of Uttar Pradesh while Monsoon activities are continuing in some parts of Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in today’s areas. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the monsoon has returned in most parts of the country but the rains will continue for a few more days. Due to super cyclone Noru, a cyclonic circulation has arisen over the Bay of Bengal. Due to which a change in the weather pattern is being seen.
The Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow Orange Alert of rain in some parts of Haryana, apart from West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. Along with this, warnings of thunder, flashes and thunderstorms have also been issued.
Delhi Weather Updates
The IMD predicted that Delhi and NCR may receive light to moderate rains till October 9. A yellow alert has been issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in the state. The sky will remain cloudy in the capital Delhi. Drizzle can be seen in some parts. A good amount of rain will be recorded in the last days of monsoon. The weather will remain pleasant due to a drop of three to four percent in the temperature. In the capital Delhi, the weather will remain pleasant due to cool breeze till evening. However, big changes will be seen in the cloudy weather of 22 October.
Heavy rain in UP
Talking about Uttar Pradesh, monsoon did not have much effect on many areas. However, there is a change in the weather of Uttar Pradesh from the end of September. Due to the formation of cyclonic circulation once again, a rain alert has been issued in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. A red alert has been issued for heavy rain in Rampur Bahraich, Moradapur Bareilly, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lucknow, Kanpur, Unnao, Pratapgarh, Faizabad, Gorakhpur and Gonda. Rain activities will continue in Uttar Pradesh till October 12.
Heavy rain alert in Uttarakhand today

A red alert was declared for very heavy rain in the eastern region. Along with this, people have been advised to be alert about the possibility of landslides and thunderstorms. While advising travel to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Hemkund and other hills, the Meteorological Department has predicted very heavy rains in these areas.

Orange alert in Bihar

Heavy rain alert was issued in more than 15 districts of Jharkhand with thunderstorms today. Many areas will be affected by the torrential rains. An orange alert has been declared for this. The possibility of thunderstorms has also been expressed in the surrounding areas including Ranchi, while the change in weather will be seen in Santhal Parganas and East Jharkhand. Cold air will blow, a 5 percent drop in night temperature will be recorded. Rain activities will continue in Jharkhand for 1 week.
Red alert of heavy rain in Odisha West Bengal
There is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts of Odisha and West Bengal. A red alert has been issued for heavy rain in 15 districts of Bengal including thunder and thunderstorms. Apart from this, people have been advised to be alert in many areas of Orissa. A red orange alert has been issued for heavy rain in Odisha today.
Weather system
- A Low Pressure Area (LPA) with associated cyclonic circulation lies over West-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Coastal Andhra Pradesh,
- A trough is extending from circulation to adjoining Uttarakhand.
- The LPA is becoming less marked, but a cyclonic circulation and a trough are expected to move very slowly towards the west-northwest.
- The southern flow from the LPA is likely to affect the Himalayan region and Northeast India.
- According to the IMD, light to heavy rain is also likely over Andaman, Nicobar, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh.
Heavy rain in Tamil Nadu Karnataka
The process of rain will start once again in the southern state of the country. Due to the cyclonic storm, a rain alert has been issued in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka today. Thunderstorm accompanied with moderate rain has also been predicted. At the same time, a drop of three percent can be recorded in the temperature.
Rain in MP Chhattisgarh

Widespread thunderstorms are very likely to occur over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh.
Thunderstorms are very likely over Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep. Lightning is very likely in Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, East Rajasthan, Gujarat region, Konkan, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra. Dry weather is likely in other areas.
