Strong wind will blow in Delhi till August 24
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain in Delhi for the next three days. Along with this, strong wind will also blow in the capital till August 24. This will reduce the effect of heat. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains from August 22 to 24, despite the weakening of the monsoon for Himachal Pradesh. Along with this, Orange Alert has been issued. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for today.
Flash flood warning issued
IMD said that light rain was recorded in isolated areas of the state on Sunday as well. The Meteorological Office has warned of flash floods in the catchment areas of Chamba and Mandi districts and has predicted rains to continue till August 26.
Light rain expected in MP-Rajasthan
On the other hand, according to private weather monitoring agency Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain is possible in Vidarbha, West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan with heavy rain at some places in the next 24 hours. On the other hand, Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh may receive light to moderate rains with heavy rains at one or two places.
Forecast of rain in UP-Bihar as well
While light to moderate rains are possible over Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, East Madhya Pradesh, parts of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Marathwada, Telangana, Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, East Gujarat and Uttarakhand.
