IMD issued an alert! Changes in the weather, heavy rain in 14 districts with strong wind, lightning warning in 15 areas, know the condition of the cities

Weather Update Today: The phase of frequent weather changes is going on in this state. Today, on August 13, there may be rain and thundershowers at some places in western UP and at many places in eastern UP.

The possibility of heavy rain and lightning has also been expressed at one or two places. Apart from this, there is a possibility of moderate rain in Bareilly-Moradabad and surrounding districts on 14 and 15 August. Whereas between August 15 and 18, there may be rain and thundershowers at many places in eastern UP and western UP. At the same time, due to lack of rain in the surrounding districts including Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Agra, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, the temperature is increasing.

Chances of rain in these districts till August 18

According to the UP Meteorological Department, on August 14, western UP may receive more rain than eastern UP. There is also a possibility of lightning accompanied by heavy rain at one or two places in western UP during this period. On August 15, there is a possibility of rain with thunder at some places in western and eastern UP. On August 16, 17 and 18, more rain may occur in eastern UP, while there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at many places in western UP. On August 16, 17 and 18, it may rain at one or two places in western UP and at some places in eastern UP. After this, there will be a change in the weather.

Today rain in these districts – warning of lightning

• According to the UP Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rains in Bareilly, Bijnor, Lakhimpur Kheri and Moradabad on Sunday.
• There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Pilibhit, Rampur and Saharanpur and its surrounding areas.
• Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely over Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, Siddharthnagar, Shamli, Sitapur, Shravasti and adjoining areas.
• There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in Amroha, Badaun, Bahraich and Balrampur districts.
• Lightning is expected in Bareilly, Basti, Bijnor, Deoria, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar and Lakhimpur Kheri.
• Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning may occur in Maharajganj, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Rampur, Santakbir Nagar and Saharanpur.
