According to the UP Meteorological Department, due to another western disturbance being active and two cyclonic pressure areas near Rajasthan, hailstorm, strong dusty winds and rain are expected at many places in the state on Monday. The weather may remain for two-three more days, but after March 22-23, there will be a change in the weather again.

UP Weather Alert Today: The rainy season is going to continue in Uttar Pradesh for the next 48 hours. Orange and Yellow Alert has been issued in view of the possibility of strong wind, rain and hail on Monday. According to the UP Meteorological Department, due to another western disturbance being active and two cyclonic pressure areas near Rajasthan, hailstorm, strong dusty winds and rain are expected at many places in the state on Monday. The weather may remain for two-three more days, but after March 22-23, there will be a change in the weather again.

According to the UP Meteorological Department, a warning of rain has been issued in 36 districts of the state on Monday amid lightning. Winds will also blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. There is a possibility of heavy rains on March 20 and 21. A yellow alert has been issued for rain and strong winds in eastern and western Uttar Pradesh till March 21, while there is a possibility of hailstorm in some parts on March 20. On Monday and Tuesday It will be cloudy. It will rain intermittently. This will lead to a rapid reduction in day and night temperatures.

Agra, Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Auraiya, Ayodhya, Banda, Barabanki, Bareilly, Chitrakoot, Etah, Etawah, Farrukhabad, Fatehpur, Firozabad, Gonda, Hardoi, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Kasganj, Kaushambi, Lucknow, Mainpuri, Orange alert has been issued in view of heavy rains in Mirzapur, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Sonbhadra, Sultanpur and Unnao and surrounding areas. Along with heavy rains , there is also a possibility of hailstorm and strong winds .

In UP on Monday Agra, Aligarh, Amroha, Azamgarh, Badaun, Baghpat, Bahraich, Ballia, Balrampur, Banda, Basti, Bulandshahr, Bijnor, Chandauli, Deoria, Noida, Ghaziabad, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Hamirpur, Hapur, Hathras, Jalaun, Yellow alert issued in Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kannauj, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lalitpur, Maharajganj, Mahoba, Mathura, Mau, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur, Saharanpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Shamli, Siddharthnagar, Shravasti and Vanarasi. Yes, winds can blow here at a speed of about 30 to 40 kmph .

Know the condition of the districts of UP

  • It will rain in Varanasi for the next three days. There are chances of rain in different areas of Purvanchal as well.
  • It will be cloudy in the morning in Kanpur, heavy rain is forecast in the afternoon and the weather will remain like this for the next 3 days.
  • Light winds will continue to blow in Ayodhya for the next 24 hours. It will rain intermittently.
  • In Jhansi, it may become cloudy till evening and it may rain with dust storm. The weather is forecast to clear from Tuesday.
  • There are chances of light rain with cloudy sky for the next 4 days in Moradabad.
  • It will be cloudy in Lucknow on Tuesday as well and there will be a possibility of drizzle.
  • From Wednesday the weather will be a bit clear and the rain will stop, there may be a rapid rise in the temperature.
  • There are chances of rain in Noida and Ghaziabad. Hail may also occur at some places.
  • The maximum temperature on Monday could be around 24 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature could be around 16 degrees Celsius amid the possibility of thunderstorms in Noida and Ghaziabad.
