IMD New Alert: According to the Meteorological Department, on July 19, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in Kerala, Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Chhattisgarh and some parts of Gujarat. At the same time, heavy rain is expected in Delhi between July 20 and 22.

IMD New Alert: Due to heavy rains in many states of the country, flood situation has arisen, due to which people are facing a lot of problems. Many rivers of the country are in spate, due to which traffic has also been affected. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Kerala, Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Chhattisgarh and some parts of Gujarat on July 19.

Delhi weather

The period of humid heat continues with rain in Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in Delhi between July 20 and 22. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 35 to 37 degree Celsius this whole week and the minimum temperature is likely to remain between 27 to 29 degree Celsius.

Weather condition of the country

According to weather forecast agency Skymet, moderate to heavy rain is possible in Konkan and Goa, Gujarat, coastal Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala today. At the same time, light to moderate rain with heavy rain may occur at some places in Vidarbha, Marathwada, southern Chhattisgarh, southern Madhya Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Apart from this, light to moderate rain may occur in Sikkim, Northeast India, interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Uttarakhand, Terai areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and some parts of Rajasthan. Light rain is possible in Jharkhand, Odisha, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Haryana.

Weather activities of the country

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, the monsoon line near sea level is moving southeastwards through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Sagar, Pendra Road, Puri to the middle of the Bay of Bengal. At the same time, a western disturbance remains in the form of a trough in the middle tropospheric westerly winds, whose axis is 5.8 km above sea level and remains at about 74 degrees east longitude north of latitude 32 degrees north.

Apart from this, a trough remains from the south Gujarat coast to the north Kerala coast. A cyclonic circulation remains over north-east Assam and its adjoining areas. Cyclonic circulation remains 0.9 km above sea level over Saurashtra and Kutch. At the same time, a new low pressure area is likely to develop over west central and adjoining north-west Bay of Bengal around July 19. A shear zone remains at 20 degrees north at 3.1 and 5.8 km above mean sea level.
