Weather Update Today: Before the beginning of the month of December, changes are being seen in the weather of different states of the country. On one hand, Cyclonic Storm Midhili has weakened into a low pressure area in North Tripura and surrounding areas, while on the other hand, the effect of cold has started increasing in North India. On the other hand, moderate to heavy rains are continuing in the southern states.
The weather will be like this in Delhi-UP-Bihar
According to the Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 27 degrees and the minimum temperature is 14 degrees, but after November 20, fog is expected to increase with the increase in cold, the minimum temperature is expected to reach 10 degrees by November 23. In Uttar Pradesh, the minimum temperature will drop by two degrees Celsius to 14 degrees Celsius this week.
In the next two to three days, the minimum temperature may again drop by one to two degrees Celsius and the weather will become mild cold again at night. The weather will remain clear in Himachal Pradesh during the next one week but the temperature in Jammu, Uttarakhand A decline will be recorded.
There will be cold effect in the morning and evening due to the westerly in Bihar, a drop in temperature will also be recorded. Apart from this, there is a possibility of dense fog in different parts of Eastern and Southern Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on Sunday.
In Rajasthan, night temperatures may drop further in the next 24 hours and the weather will remain dry for the next one week. Fog conditions are likely to continue in some parts for the next 2-3 days. There is a possibility of partial impact of an active western disturbance in the last week of November, after which severe cold may be seen.
Alert of heavy rain in these states
- The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in the North-East states of Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland and Manipur on Sunday. There is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in Coimbatore, Kozhikode and other surrounding areas.
- Due to the cyclonic storm, Tamil Nadu and Kerala may also receive good rain on 19 and 20 November.
- During this period, fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea. In the next 24 hours, there may be moderate to heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, light to moderate rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala along with heavy rain at some places.
- Light rain may also occur over Mizoram, Tripura, Lakshadweep, South Karnataka, Manipur and Nagaland. Heavy rainfall is likely to continue at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh during November 21 and Tamil Nadu on November 22.
