A new Western Disturbance will be active in the Western Himalayan region on the night of 7 November. Thunderstorm with heavy rain has been predicted in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh between 5 to 9 November.
Weather Alert: Heavy rain has been predicted in the area today. Warning of heavy rain has been issued today in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Royal Border area. Instructions have been given to keep schools in Kerala closed. Heavy rain has also been predicted in Tamil Nadu. The air in the national capital Delhi and its adjoining areas has become poisonous.
The AUI level has become very high in Ghaziabad, Noida and Gurugram. People are facing difficulty in breathing. However, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in South India. An orange alert of heavy rain was issued in the South Peninsular region between 8 and 10 November. Snowfall on the mountains will start once again. There is a possibility of heavy snowfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal including Jammu and Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Gilgit-Balistan, Muzrafabad.
Drop in temperature
The weather will remain dry in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. A drop in night temperature will be seen. There is a possibility of change in the weather of Uttar Pradesh due to westerly wind. With the continuous change in the weather, a drop in night temperature is being seen while the sky is cloudy in Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa, Telangana and Hyderabad. An alert has been issued for moderate to heavy rain in many areas.
Heavy rain alert for 5 days
Heavy rain alert has been issued in Tamil Nadu for 5 days. Heavy rain has been recorded in Tamil Nadu, Kerala in 24 hours. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in Kerala and Mahi from November 4 to 8, while in Karaikal from Tamil Nadu till November 10. Thunderstorm with heavy rain has been predicted in Karnataka, South Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh between 4th and 6th November.

Schools have been closed in Delhi due to poisonous air.
Orders have been given to keep schools closed till 10th November. Light to moderate rain is forecast for the next 7 days. The weather patterns may change due to western disturbance becoming active on the night of 7th November. There is a possibility of increase in cold in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, including snowfall and rain.
