In such a situation, changes in seasonal activity may be seen in many states.
During 24 hours, there has been moderate rain over the southern coast of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa. Light rain has been seen in different parts of Jharkhand including Chhattisgarh, South Karnataka. Heavy snowfall is being seen in many parts of Kashmir. According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 24 hours, there may be moderate rain in some parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, south coast Karnataka and Andaman Nicobar Islands along with heavy rain at some places. Yellow alert and orange alert have been issued. Moderate rain warning has been issued in Lakshadweep trial border and Karnataka.
