IMD Weather Update Today 10 February 2024: India Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many states of the country for the next 4-5 days. The Meteorological Department says that there may be light to moderate rain in 11 states of the country including Bihar and Chhattisgarh.
According to IMD, due to cyclonic circulation, light rain may occur in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh between February 10 and 14. There is a possibility of rain in Central Maharashtra and Marathwada on 10 and 11 February, while there may be rain in Odisha on 11 and 12 February. Similarly, there may be rain in Tamil Nadu on 12th and 13th February, in Telangana on 10th and 11th February and in Kerala on 14th and 15th February.
Winds will blow at a speed of 25 to 35 kilometers per hour
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, winds can blow at a speed of 25 to 35 kilometers per hour in many states of North-West India, while there is a possibility of cold wave in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab during the next 24 hours. The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi will remain between 5 to 10 degrees Celsius.
Possibility of lightning and storm in these states
IMD warned that there is a possibility of light thunderstorm with lightning in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during February 10 to February 12. The weather department has also predicted fluctuations in minimum temperatures in many areas of north-west, central and eastern India in the next two days, followed by a rise of 2-3 degrees Celsius.
