Many new announcements are being made by the central government for the 6th-7th pay commission government employees. Your Composite Transfer Grant orders have been issued along with increase in Dearness Allowance (DA Hike). According to the order issued by the Ministry of Railways, the benefit of CTG is given to the retired employees in case they settle more than 20 kilometers from the last station.
In fact an order has been issued by the Ministry of Railways in September. In this regard, fresh orders have been issued on October 10. The overall transfer grant rule of employees has been revised. In which at the last station of duty it will benefit the retired employees residing at some other place. So far one third of CTGs had been accepted. Whereas, the employee who resides at a distance of 20 km from the last station of duty or the last station of duty, it was ensured to be given the benefit of one-third of the seats.
The condition of 20 km in the last duty station has been abolished by the government. At the same time, it was mandatory to have the document to claim the grant. According to the amended rule, the Central Government employees will be eligible to get 80 percent of the basic pay after retirement to settle at the last station of duty.
However, this payment will be 100% in the region of Lakshadweep including Andaman and Nicobar. The employees retiring from the railways will be eligible for 80 percent of the basic pay to settle from the last station of duty at a station other than the last station. For this they have to submit a self declaration certificate.
