The viral message claimed that the Google Pay app is not verified by the National Payment Corporation of India. This means that if users have any problem with the app, then the complaint cannot be filed. The news of not having an RBI authorized platform made people nervous. The truth has been disclosed to the government regarding this matter. While releasing the report, the Press Information Bureau has called this thing fake. According to the PIB report, Google Pay also comes under the purview of RBI like PhonePe, Paytm and other online money transaction platforms.
