The Income Tax Department has alerted PAN card holders by tweeting. By linking it with Aadhaar card till 31 March 2023, your PAN card may become inactive.
PAN Card Alert : Both PAN card and Aadhaar card are essential documents. No official work would have been easy without them. These days almost everyone has to have both these cards. From time to time, the Income Tax Department also keeps giving updates related to this. This time the department has alerted the users by releasing the information.
Finish work on time
If you have not yet linked your PAN and Aadhaar card to each other, then do this work immediately. For this, the date of March 31, 2023 has been fixed. If you do not do this, you may suffer heavy losses. The department has given information about this by tweeting. As per the Income Tax Act 1961, for all PAN holders who do not come under the exemption category. It will be mandatory for them to link PAN with Aadhaar by March 3, 2023. If this does not happen by April 1, 2023, the card will be deactivated without being linked.
आयकर अधिनियम, 1961 के अनुसार, सभी पैन धारकों के लिए, जो छूट की श्रेणी में नहीं आते हैं, 31.03.2023 से पहले अपने पैन को आधार से जोड़ना अनिवार्य है।
01.04.2023 से जो पैन आधार से नहीं लिंक किए गए हैं, वे पैन निष्क्रिय हो जाएंगे।
