- First of all go to www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
- You PAN is your user ID, login. If you have forgotten the password, reset it.
- Go to ‘Downloads’ and select ITR-1 (Sahaj) Return Preparation Software under the relevant year. It will be downloaded in the form of excel.
- Open the excel sheet and enter the details attached to Form-16.
- Calculate all the details and save this sheet.
- Go to ‘Submit Return’ and upload the saved excel sheet.
- You will be asked to upload the digital signature. You can also skip this step.
The message of Successful e-filing Submission will be shown on your screen. - ITR verification form will be sent to your registered e-mail ID.
