Northern Railway tweeted that due to doubling work in Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Shahganj-Zaffarabad section on Lucknow division, the route of many trains has been changed. If you want to travel by this route then please check the notification once before your journey.
These train routes were changed
Northern Railway has diverted train services at Barabanki due to doubling work in Upper Ayodhya Cantt Shahganj Jafrabad section of Lucknow. According to the notification issued by the Railways, the routes of many trains like Gorakhpur Raptisagar Express departing from Gorakhpur Kochuveli till 21, 22, 24, 28, 29, 31 December 2023 have been diverted. Along with this, train number 12511 Gorakhpur-Kochuveli Raptisagar Express departing from Gorakhpur at 06.35 am on 04, 05, 07, 11, 12 and 14 January 2024 will be run via Gorakhpur-Ayodhya.
According to the notification issued by Railways, Gorakhpur Raptisagar Express, departing from Gorakhpur Kochuveli, has been diverted on 19,20, 24,26,27, 31 December and 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10 January. The routes going from Kanpur Central to Prayagraj, Sultanpur, Ayodhya Cantt, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur have also been diverted.
Train No. 12521 Barauni-Ernakulam Raptisagar Superfast Express will depart from Ernakulam at 22.50 hrs on 18, 25 December 2023, 01 and 08 January 2024 and run via Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Ayodhya Cantt, Sultanpur, Prayagraj and Kanpur Central.
Train No. 12521 Barauni-Ernakulam Raptisagar Superfast Express departing from Barauni at 10.50 hrs on 22nd, 29th December 2023, 05th and 12th January 2024 will be run via Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Sultanpur, Ayodhya Cantt, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur. .
