Last month, Southern Railway had announced QR code-supported tickets, now it is being launched by Northern Railway. Moradabad Railway Division of Northern Railway has made preparations to start QR code service at selected stations. Passengers will be able to purchase e-tickets (Indian Railway E-Ticket) themselves through QR code and UPI payment.

How to Book Train QR Code Ticket via UTS App
- Download and install the UTS app of Indian Railways.
- Here there will be a QR booking option in the book ticket menu.
- Here go to the railway station where the QR code is.
- After this scan it using UTS app.
- Here select the destination where you want to travel and select additional fields.
- After this make the payment to generate the train ticket instantly.
- You can use UPI for payment.
- After ticket booking, an SMS will be sent to the number with the URL of the QR code.
