Indian Railways: Non-interlocking work is being done by East Central Railway zone at Chopan station.
Due to the interlocking work, the services of many trains operating between Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh will be affected due to the traffic block taken by the North Eastern Railway.
Non-interlocking work is being done at Chopan station on behalf of East Central Railway zone of Indian Railways . Due to the interlocking work, the services of many trains operating between Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh will be affected due to the traffic block taken by the North Eastern Railway.
The decision of short termination/short origination of trains taken earlier by the Railways is being extended. The passengers traveling by these trains should get the information about the running status from the concerned inquiry number before starting the journey so that they do not face any kind of trouble.
North Eastern Railway spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Singh said that earlier a traffic block was taken for this work due to which the trains had to be short terminated/short origination, it is now being increased as follows:-
Short Termination
– 15074 Tanakpur – Sigrauli Express running from Tanakpur on 04th & 06th May, 2022 will be short terminated at Chopan station. This train will remain canceled between Chopan and Singrauli.
15076 Tanakpur-Shaktinagar Express running from Tanakpur on 03rd, 05th, and 07th May, 2022 will be short terminated at Chopan station. This train will remain canceled between Chopan and Shaktinagar.
Short Origin
– 15073 Sigrauli-Tanakpur Express running from Sigrauli on 03rd, 05th & 07th May, 2022 will be run from Chopan station. This train will remain canceled between Sigrauli to Chopan.
15075 Shaktinagar-Tanakpur Express running from Shaktinagar on May 04, 06 and 08, 2022 will be run from Chopan station. This train will remain canceled between Shaktinagar to Chopan.
