IRCTC: The semi high speed train will have its first mini version. Lucknow-Ayodhya-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat is likely to be flagged off on July 7. According to the report of IANS, PM Modi is expected to flag off this train.

Vande Bharat Express: Continuous work is being done on behalf of the Indian Railways on the facilities of the passengers. Now the Railways is preparing to bring Vande Bharat Express train with eight coaches in UP. This Vande Bharat is expected to be run from Lucknow to Gorakhpur via Ayodhya. This will be the first mini version of the semi high speed train in the state. Lucknow-Ayodhya-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat is likely to be flagged off on July 7. According to the report of IANS, PM Modi is expected to flag off this train. However, no information has been given by the PMO about this yet.

The distance will be covered in less than four hours

The train will cover a distance of 302 km via Ayodhya Junction in less than four hours. At present, it takes 4.30 to 5 hours to travel by train on this route. Train No. 22411 Arunachal Superfast Express covers the distance between Gorakhpur and Lucknow via Gonda Junction in 4 hrs 35 mins. This is the least time taken by any train on this route. Other trains Sapt Kranti Superfast Express and Gorakhdham Superfast Express take around 4 hrs 50 mins.

5 Vande Bharat trains flagged off on 27th June

According to reports, there has been no official announcement on fares and routes. However, the list of fare will be issued by the Railway Board before the launch of the train. Last week, PM Modi flagged off 5 Vande Bharat trains from Rani Kamlapati railway station in Bhopal. These trains will boost connectivity in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Bihar and Jharkhand.
