The new superfast train will run between New Delhi and Patna Junction. This step of Railways will provide convenience to lakhs of passengers going from Delhi to Patna and from Patna to Delhi.

According to the news published in Financial Express, this special train will cover the distance of 1000 km in 12 hours 20 minutes. This will be the third superfast train between Delhi and Patna. Earlier, the Railways had flagged off Vande Bharat Express between the two cities.
While running from Delhi and Patna, train number 02250/02249 (New Delhi-Patna Junction-New Delhi) reserved Rajdhani special train will stop at five railway stations . The train will have stops at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, DD Upadhyay Junction, Buxar and Ara Junction. This train will run for four days in the month of November. The special train will run from Delhi on 10, 13, 15 and 17 November and from Patna on 11, 14, 16 and 18 November.
Train timing:
Train number 02250 will leave from New Delhi at 19:10 (7.10 pm). It will reach Patna the next day at 7:30 am. In return, train number 02249 will leave from Patna Junction for New Delhi at 9:00 pm and will reach New Delhi at 21.00 pm (9 pm).
Fare of Special Rajdhani Express
New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Special Rajdhani Express has AC 3 tier, AC 2 tier and AC first class bogie. Passengers will have to pay Rs 2830 for AC 3 tier, Rs 3790 for AC 2 tier and Rs 4360 for AC first class. Dynamic price system is also implemented in the train.
