Railway Vacancy 2022: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced new provisions for supervisory cadre, in which they will get a chance to reach higher pay grade equivalent to Group A officers.
Indian Railway Railways Recruitment: Indian Railways is going to start a mega recruitment drive with plans to fill thousands of vacant posts by the end of March 2023. According to officials, more than 35,000 people are going to get jobs in the railways through the recruitment drive. Indian Railways Executive Director (Information and Publicity) Amitabh Sharma said, “Indian Railways will complete the recruitment process for all 35,281 posts.”
According to a report, the appointments will be based on CEN (Centralized Employment Notice) 2019. Sharma said that Indian Railways is working to get different results from all levels, so that more candidates will get jobs.
He further said, due to simultaneous release of results, many meritorious candidates are deprived of getting proper benefits of employment. Apart from this, due to the simultaneous publication of the result, the same applicant becomes eligible for many posts. Sharma said, “Despite the pandemic, the Railways is preparing to conduct recruitment exams and declare results and join in less time.”
He has made it clear that Indian Railways will complete the mega recruitment drive for all 35,281 posts by the end of March 2023. The Union Minister said, “Provision has been made to promote 50 percent people in non-functional grade from Level 8 to Level 9 in four years.” This is likely to benefit 80,000 supervisors from civil, mechanical, electrical, S&T traffic chemical and S&T, metallurgical, stores and commercial departments.
