Indian Railways Scheme: Traveling by train becomes the first option for most every Indian when they choose comfort with cheap tickets. Compared to airplanes or other vehicles, train is considered a good option to go from one city to another.
At the same time, now to make this facility more affordable, Railways has introduced a special scheme. Under this, passengers will not have to strain their pockets to eat a full meal during the train. A new scheme is being started by Indian Railways, which can provide food to the passengers at very low cost. Let us know about it in detail.
You will get a full meal in just Rs 20!
Indian Railways will provide food to the passengers during the journey at low cost. In this regard, Railways has launched a new scheme. Its specialty is that passengers will be able to get a full meal for just Rs 20. Under the scheme, passengers will be given food packets for Rs 20 and Rs 50.
These dishes will be available in food packets
Indian Railways has decided to provide food packets for Rs 20 and Rs 50 under its new scheme. Dishes from North India and South India will be available in these. Apart from pav bhaji and puri-sabzi, you will also get South Indian dishes in these food packets.
Food packet up to 350 grams will be available
A packet of food worth Rs 20 to 50 will be given. Its Rs 50 packet will contain up to 350 grams of food. In this you will get a chance to order dishes like Chole- Bhature, Khichdi, Chole Rice, Masala Dosa, Rajmana- Rice and Pav Bhaji. Along with this, Railways has also advised to provide packed water to IRCTC zones.
Financially weak people will get relief
Food packets worth only Rs 20 and Rs 50 will be especially beneficial for economically weaker people. In fact, when one has to travel a long distance by train, even the food packed at home gets spoiled, due to which one has to buy food from the railway station or train, the price of which is very high. However, with this scheme, such people will be able to get a full meal for Rs 20 to 50.
This scheme was first started at so many stations
This scheme has been started by Indian Railways at first 64 stations. It will initially be started on a trial of 6 months. However, later this service can be started at all the railway stations of India. The specialty of this scheme is that the passengers of general bogie will get maximum benefit from it. This is because this cheap food stall will be set up in front of the general bogie at the station.
